Have a question? We’ve got you covered.
Is there an age limit for freezing eggs?
There’s no exact age limit, however after the age of 35, egg quantity and quality rapidly declines. Therefore, the highest chance of a successful pregnancy is most likely to be achieved when freezing eggs before the age of 34. Nonetheless, if you are over the age of 35 then it may just mean that you might have to undergo multiple cycles to reach an adequate number of eggs.
Every person is different, therefore the clinic will make an assessment of your ovarian reserve before suggesting whether to proceed or not. We would recommend taking our Hertility at home Hormone & Fertility Test Kit in the first instance so that you are able to check and monitor your ovarian reserve and hormones to help you to make informed choices.
