Human Resources Lead

We are looking for an experienced, principles (v. process)-based, people-driven HR professional to support our growth. This person will report to the founders and be responsible for the growth and development of our team. They will bring their expertise and hands-on approach to build our culture through light-touch processes including onboarding, training and performance management, as well as laying the groundwork for the future by choosing the right benefits package and developing simple, transparent policies that ensure we scale effortlessly.

Role Description:

  • Act as business partner and advisor to the leadership team on all HR issues - organisational design, hiring, compensation benchmarking, planning and more.
  • Lead performance and learning and development processes for the creation of a professional, motivated workforce while ensuring an inclusive workplace with a DEI focus.
  • Shape the employee experience of Hertility, including onboarding and offboarding, benefits, events and celebrations.
  • Manage all employee relations issues.
  • Ensure transparent, data-supported people decisions .
  • Work closely with the leadership team to safeguard a work culture that is consistent with Hertility’s values and brand.

You’ll be a good fit if:

  • 5+ years of generalist HR experience, including 2+ years in a senior or manager role.
  • Experience with benefits & compensation best practices and decision making.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law.
  • Experience working globally.
  • Experience working with and consulting to line managers as well as individual contributors.
  • You have a passion for women’s health.
